Buddy, a Westie from Northern Ireland, lives in a beautiful neighborhood close to green golf courses and ancient castles. His portrait was done in oils using heavy impasto medium and stiff bristle brushes. The colors of the rug made for a perfect background that reflects Buddy's energetic spirit. Softer brushes were used to blend in the silky sheen of Buddy's beautiful coat.
